Gallery — Before & After Auto Dent Repair Examples
Welcome to the Dang Dent gallery: an evidence-first look at the quality and effectiveness of our dent repair work.
Why a gallery matters
Seeing real-world examples helps you set realistic expectations and demonstrates our ability to produce near-invisible repairs. Below are richly detailed case descriptions and recommended viewing angles should you request images or schedule an in-person inspection at our shop (3899 Stoney Hill Rd, Warrenton, GA 30828).
Example 1
Door Ding (PDR) — Before & After
Before
Location: Right rear door
Damage: Small circular ding approximately 1.5 inches in diameter, no paint cracking, light crease inward.
Visibility: Clearly visible in direct sunlight with reflective highlights around the dent.
After
Technique: PDR applied through the interior door panel access. Technician used a slim-line rod and precision taps to push the metal back into place.
Result: Invisible under standard lighting; contour and reflection restored. No repaint necessary.
Notes: Repair completed in 45 minutes in our mobile unit at the customer’s workplace.
Example 2
Before
Location: Hood and roof
Damage: Dozens of small dents (1/4”–3/4” each) across multiple panels; paint remained intact.
Visibility: Dents create a textured, pockmarked appearance in the sunlight.
After
Technique: PDR performed in-shop using light boards and leveraged rods, with staged work across two sessions to maintain consistent reflection and avoid excessive technician fatigue.
Result: Smooth, restored hood and roof surfaces with no visible dents; original paint preserved.
Notes: Project took two days depending on the number of accessible panels and dent density.
Hail Damage (PDR multi-panel) — Before & After
Example 3
Fender Crease (Minor Auto Dent Repair) — Before & After
Before
Location: Driver-side fender near the wheel arch
Damage: Moderate crease with paint scratch and slight metal stretch due to a low-speed impact.
Visibility: Eyecatching under all lighting conditions; paint scuffed and partially removed in the crease.
After
Technique: Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) techniques used to carefully reshape the metal and restore the panel to its original contour without using filler, paint, or repainting.
Result: Restored panel with a smooth, even surface while preserving the original factory paint.
Notes: Repair completed in-shop in one day.
Example 4
Before
Location: Rear trunk lid
Damage: Shallow, wide dent with limited backside access due to trunk structure.
Visibility: Noticeable across the trunk lid reflections.
After
Technique: Glue-pull method used to attach tabs to the damaged area and gradually pull the dent out. Final refinements made with small push rods and tapping.
Result: Restored contour with preserved paint; high-quality finish with only a subtle telltale under extreme angle lighting.
Notes: Excellent candidate for mobile repair; completed in 90 minutes at the customer’s home.
Trunk Dent (Glue-Pull PDR) — Before & After
Example 5
Bumper Dent (Minor Paint & Repair) — Before & After
Before
Location: Rear bumper corner
Damage: Small impact with paint scuffing and slight indentation; underlying plastic deformed.
Visibility: Noticeable in rear view.
After
Technique: Carefully reshaped the bumper using appropriate heat-based techniques where safe, restoring its original contour.
Result: Restored bumper contour, no visible scuff marks or mismatched color from normal viewing distance.
Notes: Some bumper materials require specific heat; finished in-shop for a controlled environment and optimal finish.
Example 6
Before
Location: Edge of rear passenger door
Damage: Narrow dent from collision with a pole; paint intact but crease present.
Visibility: Noticeable when the door is closed, creates shadow line break.
After
Technique: PDR with small radius rods to access the edge through door jamb. Final smoothing and polish to restore the reflection line.
Result: Door reflection line restored; no evidence of prior damage in normal daylight.
Notes: Edge dents require technician finesse and precise access; excellent PDR candidate.

What to look for in photo comparisons
- Lighting consistency:Before-and-after photos should be taken under similar lighting to fairly represent the result.
- Reflection clarity:Look for straight, continuous lines in reflections (light boards help highlight these during PDR).
- Original Paint Preservation:Check that the original factory paint remains intact, with no signs of repainting or damage to the finish.
- Panel gap and alignment: For more severe impacts, check that doors and panels still align and open/close correctly.

Frequently asked questions about gallery examples
A: Results depend on dent type, paint condition, and accessibility. PDR often yields invisible results when the paint is intact. Minor auto dent repair achieves seamless finishes in most cases but may reveal subtle differences under extreme inspection.
A: Yes. Send photos to (706) 214-0983 for a preliminary assessment. We can reference gallery examples to advise on expected outcomes.
A: We include work on many vehicle types. Metallic or multi-stage paints and certain high-gloss finishes might reveal differences under specific angles, but our goal is as-close-to-factory restoration as possible.
A: Sharp creases can be challenging to remove with PDR, depending on their depth and location. Our assessment will help determine the best approach to achieve the best possible results.
